About

Alexis Cabrera (she/they) is a Filipino American illustrator and animator based in Chicago, Illinois. Her work explores personal heritage, queer expression, horror, and her love of alternative and heavy music. Some of her work is also inspired by her time in the Philippines as a Fulbright scholar. With these experiences under her belt, Alexis is passionate about depicting the diverse range of the human experience while wearing her heart on her sleeve.

She is currently an MFA Animation student at DePaul University. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and going to concerts.
